About Me

me and my brothers

So it was a long time ago. I guess I come from a family of picture takers.

I am the one in the dress.

I like taking pictures of nature, and anything else that gets in the way of my lens. I am also a good asian ink painter and have images of some of my favorite paintings posted on my flicker site.

I started this blog for a trip I was taking to British Columbia. If you like nature and wildlife, you’ll like my blog. Now I am keeping up with it because of all the people who visited my blog and introduce me to theirs. I’ve seen great photography and pictures of really interesting places. I now have my first DSLR so I am inspired by other bloggers to keep taking pictures. I really enjoy the weekly photo challenge. I am also inspired by the thinkers and writers I’ve found. WordPress is a world full of creativity.

    • Thank you, picture is of me and my two older brothers who are 18 months older than me. It was easy to take great photos in British Columbia. It is an amazing place. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Thanks for dropping by to Through the luminary Lens and liking my post today. I too, am inspired by fellow bloggers and thinkers like your self, Jeanne. And I’m so glad you love my home province of BC – and yes – we need to protect the coast from “Big Oil” – peace to you! Bruce

    • Yes! This was taken in the early 60’s (I’m guessing 1963) My brothers are twins, 18 mos older than me. We lived in Boston suburb and my dad is a HUGE Redsox fan and still is to this day. I think it must be April just after Easter because of the rabbits they are holding. The brother on the right married a gal from New York. 🙂

  2. So Jeanne, you decided to join the small clan of Uncle Spike followers, sometimes known as The Spikey’s…. That makes me a happy blogger now – I really appreciate you making that special mouse click.
Hope you like my upcoming posts and if you get bored one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too.
If you have any likes, dislikes or suggestions about my blog, just let me know, either through ‘comments’ or via email. Always welcome reader input 🙂
    Have a great old day…
