What’s Left When the Rain Stops

We spent two days in the rain and mist and then it broke and the sun came out. Light moving across the sky and the land usually catches my attention and I pointed the camera and shot this.

I can’t picture a tanker accident here. I get that we have to put food on our tables, but I have to wonder why we will trade this for it, when there are other economic means.

I think of the wildlife going about its wild business and wonder if they are aware the balance has shifted.
