I love traveling on old wooden ships. It’s a hell of type of collection, for those of you who know what collecting is all about. I collect experiences of sailing on old wooden ships and pictures of wildlife and birds and ‘God’ light.
While I was on my last collection trip I fell hook line and sinker (tons of cliches just pardon them please, it’s the red wine) in love with the place I traveled to.
It’s the Great Bear Rainforest, British Columbia, in case this is your first visit to my blog. You should look at the pictures of my bears, if you like bears.
I found the rainforest is facing what I consider serious environmental issues (When I was 10 I bought my first Greenpeace T-shirt, so maybe that’s got something to do with it.) Actually I am shocked by my deep emotional response to the place.
So I post my pictures and hope that if you stumble across my blog, you’ll visit, you’ll fall in love and want to protect this very special place too.
